How to Request Data Deletion

- Phone Number: The phone number associated with your account
- Full Name: Your full name as registered in the app
- Reason for Deletion: Brief explanation (optional)
- Confirmation Statement: "I confirm that I want to permanently delete my account and all associated personal data from eTrust systems."
What Data Will Be Deleted
Upon processing your data deletion request, we will permanently remove the following information from our systems:
- Personal identification information (Full Name, Phone Number, Address)
- KYC (Know Your Customer) submitted information such as National ID or Passport Number
- Images of identification documents (NIC, Passport, Driver's License)
- Business registration documents (for merchant accounts)
- Profile photos and other uploaded images
- App usage data and preferences
- Marketing communication preferences
Data Retention for Legal Purposes
While we will delete most of your personal data, certain information may be retained for legal, regulatory, or business purposes, including:
- Transaction records and warranty claims data (required for legal compliance)
- Financial records related to completed transactions
- Data required for tax reporting and accounting purposes
- Information necessary to resolve disputes or legal proceedings
- Anonymized analytics data that cannot be traced back to you
This retained data will be kept only for as long as legally required and will be securely stored with restricted access.
Processing Timeline
We will process your data deletion request within 30 days of receiving your email. You will receive a confirmation email once the deletion process is complete.
Account Reactivation
Please note that once your data is deleted, it cannot be recovered. If you decide to use our services again in the future, you will need to create a new account and re-enter all your information.
