1. Acceptance of Terms
   By accessing or using the mobile applications provided by Etrust (PVT) Ltd (“we”, “us”, or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the app.
2. Platform Role Disclaimer
   Etrust (PVT) Ltd does not issue, manage, or validate warranties.
   We provide a digital platform that allows third-party merchants and distributors to issue and manage product warranties. The responsibility for any warranties, including terms, validity, claim resolution, and customer communication, lies solely with the merchant or distributor who issued the warranty.
   
   We are not liable for:
   • The accuracy of warranty information
   • The fulfillment or rejection of warranty claims
   • Any disputes between the user and the warranty issuer
   Users must address warranty-related concerns directly with the issuing party.
3. Use of the App
   The Etrust mobile applications are intended for:
   • Consumers to manage product warranties, view promotions, and submit warranty claims.
   • Merchants to create warranties, manage claims, and upload promotional content.
   You must be at least 13 years old to use the app. You agree to use the app only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
4. User Accounts and Verification
   To use the app, you must register using your mobile number and complete OTP verification. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.
   Providing false, inaccurate, or incomplete information during registration may result in the suspension or termination of your account.
5. User Responsibilities
   By using the app, you agree not to:
   • Upload or submit false warranty or product information
   • Impersonate another person or entity
   • Interfere with the operation of the app or its services
   • Use the camera or any other feature for unauthorized or malicious purposes
6. Intellectual Property
   All content in the app — including logos, text, graphics, and system design — is the property of Etrust (PVT) Ltd or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute any part of the app without our prior written consent.
7. Camera and Permissions
   Our app uses the device camera solely to capture product images for warranty documentation. You must grant camera access for this feature to work properly. We do not access or store your photo library or videos.
8. Termination
   We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the app at our sole discretion if you violate these Terms, misuse the platform, or engage in fraudulent activity.
9. Limitation of Liability
   Etrust (PVT) Ltd shall not be liable for:
   • Any warranty issued by a third-party seller or distributor
   • The outcome or resolution of any warranty claim
   • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages from use or inability to use the app
   • Data loss or unauthorized access caused by user behavior or third-party systems
10. Modifications to the App or Terms
    We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be communicated via the app or our website. Continued use of the app after such updates constitutes your agreement to the revised Terms.
    We also reserve the right to modify or discontinue the app or any of its features at any time without notice.
11. Governing Law
    These Terms shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Sri Lanka, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
